President Obama visited Jay Leno on the Tonight Show last night. I stayed up to watch it, but was dozing in the beginning. Did you see it? Here it is for those of us who didn’t see it all or who want to see it again.
Oh, and he made a gaffe. Can you find it? It has become the most discussed thing said. Gosh, do we know what’s important or don’t we?
Gee, I thought it might be dying down, but I hadn’t thought that the congress persons still wanted to have their say as they try to distract us from thinking about their blame for the mess.

Somehow the Federal Reserve’s announcement of its latest plans didn’t make it to the video — not sexy enough, I guess. Well, in any case here’s what the day looked like to Talking Points Memo:
Whoops, it’s Wednesday. Did you see what happened yesterday? The anger and outrage seem to be competing with each other, not to be outdone by some real foolishness from the Congress persons. OMG and we’re depending on them…
If you do care, here’s a quick look at the highlights of the day. I think the word is “outrage.”
If gold as a precious metal is a good investment, and that is a big “if” from time to time, there are many opinions on the best way to “own” it. There’s physical gold — bars or coins, there’s gold futures and there’s ETFs. Among the ETFs there’s GLD vs GTU/CEF. An argument that convinces me is here.
